The lead up to the NBA Draft was crazy then things really went into overdrive when the Timberwolves traded for Jimmy Butler on Draft night.
Well the dust hasn’t settled yet as there still remains numerous questions left unanswered, including what will happen with Paul George, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Carmelo Anthony. Rumors have been circulating that George will either be with LeBron in Cleveland or Lonzo Ball and the Lakers, Paul will head to San Antonio and Griffin could be headed to Houston. But what about Carmelo? Is he even still a Knick?
Yesterday an interesting scenario was floated around where both Carmelo and Dwyane Wade could potentially end up with LeBron in Cleveland. According to ESPN.com, should both players secure buyouts from the Knicks and Bulls, respectively, they could head to Ohio to give LeBron more firepower in his quest to dethrone the mighty Golden State Warriors.
While no additional trades have been made since Draft night, the next few months will be very interesting for both fans and team GMs as they try to navigate the moves to be made before the start of the 2017-2018 season.
