Thanks to an amazing buzz at the Cannes Film Festival, deals have been closed with several international distribution companies to circulate Time is Illmatic globally. The documentary that chronicles the creation of Nas’ seminal 1994 album Illmatic was directed by One9 and written by Erik Parker.

Time is Illmatic opened the Tribeca Film Festival in April. And a few weeks ago, Tribeca Films acquired its North American rights with plans for an October release to theaters and on VOD, with live performances by Nas in cities throughout the country.
