Adrien "The Problem" Broner is a young, flashy boxer from Cincinnati, OH. At 23-years old, Broner has already taken boxing by storm and appears to be the heir apparent to Floyd Mayweather's throne.
Consider that Broner is 25-0 with 21 KO's. He has only fought past the 8th round three times in his career, and before this weekend had only gone past five rounds twice since 2009, a span of fifteen fights.
This weekend, Broner stepped up in weight class, from super featherweight (130 lbs) to lightweight (135 lbs), and knocked out Mexican Antonio DeMarco.
DeMarco's no slouch, in fact, Broner hasn't faced all that many slouches; you just wouldn't know it from the tape. Broner is extremely quick, rarely gets hit — let alone hurt — and has the dimension Mayweather lacks: devastating knockout power.
That lack of power is what caused Mayweather to change from "Pretty Boy" to his bad-boy alter ego "Money" in order to drum up more attention for his PPV fights. But don't worry, Broner has plenty to offer in that department, too. He's come out to fights while rapping, often dances in the ring, and doesn't give his post-fight interview until his hair has been properly brushed.
Yeah, that's a little over-the-top, but it's almost hard to tell a 23-year-old kid to chill out and act like he's been there before, even though he has that kind of talent.
It's harder when the man on the throne shouts you out after another day in the office.
Congratulations to my little brother @adrienbroner #TheMoneyTeam

Better watch out, Floyd. You might have a big problem soon.
