Tom Brady’s infamous slide is now being reviewed by the NFL.
When a QB slides he’s supposed to be giving himself up and conceding the play for his safety, but Brady looked like Ty Cobb trying to break up a double play. If it were a baseball game that slide would’ve been an automatic out. Brady’s slide should’ve been a 15 yard penalty and a loss of down.
Bernard Pollard already called the play dirty this weekend and didn't back off his assertions on Monday.
"If you want to keep this going in the right direction, everyone should be penalized for their actions," Pollard said.
He added, "[Brady] knew what he was doing. It has to go both ways. Hopefully the NFL will do something about it. If they don't, that's fine. If they do, then that's fine."
It’s good to see the façade of the “Patriots Way” get some its shine knocked off. There is no way Brady can justify going Suh as he’s sliding.
The refs on the field got it wrong, but let’s hope they get it right off the field with a hefty fine.
