50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather Jr. have an interesting relationship.
They were boys, bordering on bromance, during many episodes of HBO’s 24/7, leading up to Floyd’s fights against Victor Ortiz and Miguel Cotto. Like, “having fake phone conversations with stacks of money posing as phones” kind of boys.
50 even counseled Floyd on how to get through his stint in jail this summer and picked him up in a fresh Bentley.
Now, things seem to be getting tense between the two. After Fif’s failed attempt as a boxing promoter, his company quickly folded into Floyd’s Mayweather Promotions, 50 is now working with Manny Pacquio, Mayweather’s chief rival.
"50 Cent and I have been talking now for maybe the last two months," Pacquiao advisor Michael Koncz told BoxingScene.com. "They approached us with the idea to form a promotional company. Initially it was going to be 50 Cent, Manny and Floyd. But right now I don't think Floyd is going to be a part of it."
Yesterday morning, he sent out a series of cryptic tweets, including this notable one below.
Only problem is my best friend is not that bright but he got a good heart. SMSaudio

Was he speaking of Tony Yayo? It wouldn't be a leap to gather that he was referring to Money May. Now, keep in mind that this is boxing, so these shenanigans could well be planned. Either way, this story isn’t finished. Guarans.
