Brooklyn’s Finest and Training Day director Antoine Fuqua is slowly becoming one of the most in-demand directors of 2014. Not only has he been approached by Sony to direct the sequel to the upcoming film The Equalizer. But he’s also been approached by MGM to direct the remake of The Magnificent Seven as well as the Ridley Scott produced 20th Century Fox thriller Narco Sub.
Currently, Fuqua is preparing to direct the Jake Gyllenhaal Weinstein Company boxing drama Southpaw.
