Black Panther is getting ready to drop on February 16. It is no wonder why director Ryan Coogler would want the film to debut in theaters during Black History Month. Starring Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyongo and Daniel Kaluuya, among many other acting favorites of ours, this might be one of the blackest movies ever; from director right down through the cast.

Pre-ticket sales broke a Fandango record, with early estimates predicting a $100 to $120 million on opening weekend. This will be the first film in the current slate of MCU films to have a black lead character. Historically, the Blade trilogy starring Wesley Snipes holds that distinction.

A Facebook page was set up urging anti-supporters to use the hashtags #DCoverMarvel and #BringDownDisney. Though this seems like just another fanboy spat that spilled into the digital arena on the surface, it stinks of just another racist tantrum by cellar dwellers looking to transmit their own low self-esteem and hatred onto others.
