The Green Bay Packers are off to a 3-0 start, largely due to the historic play of Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers has been amazing, throwing for 771 yards, ten touchdowns and zero picks.
Hes even drawing comparisons to His Airness, Michael Jordan -a comparison Rodgers humbly dismisses. “I don’t know if the comparison is … I’m not worthy of that comparison. I enjoyed watching Michael. I was a big fan as a kid” Rodgers said.
There are great stats that back up the Rodgers-Jordan comparison, as he is the NFLs career leader in touchdown-to-interception ratio. Hes been dominating at home, not losing a home start since 2012. Rodgers has also thrown 483 straight passes and 43 touchdowns since his last pick. He has not thrown an interception at home in three years.
Simply GREAT.
Is Rodgers the MJ of the NFL? Or is Four-time super bowl champion and current AFC offensive player of the month, Tom Brady, more worthy of the Jordan comparison? Right now many are pointing north towards Wisconsin for GOAT status.
