Veteran broadcaster, Mike Tirico, will be shortening the number of letters in the name of his next employer.
First reported by the SportsBusiness Daily, Tirico, 49, has been with the network since 1991 and has been one of the voices of Monday Night Football since 2006. He was also one of the network’s primary voices across their NBA, golf, tennis and college football and basketball programming.
His contract expires this summer, which means ESPN needs to find a new voice for it’s Monday Night Football broadcasts.
