Steve Harvey may have the last laugh after all.
Despite Harvey’s Miss Universe gaffe, which earned 15 million YouTube views and had social networking buzzing with jokes at his expense, the comedian has reportedly been offered a long term deal to remain host of the pageant.
Entertainment Tonight reported that the Miss Universe Organization “really loves Harvey” and is offering him a six or seven-year contract, with “more money than they’ve ever paid a host before”.
Prior to this year’s Miss Universe, i’m sure most people wouldn’t be able to name last years winner. Say what you want, but Harvey’s blunder brought a great deal of attention to the pageant show and all attention is good attention in show business.
