Luis Suarez was back in the news this weekend for the same reasons he's normally in the news: scoring a ridiculously good/clutch goal while picking up a controversial handball, and biting a defender.
You can't win with this guy. He has a habit of bending/breaking rules, as this isn't the first person he's bitten. Then he goes on to score an important goal. Maddening.
Mike Tyson can relate. His brutally quick knockouts during his rapid ascension to the top of the heavyweight division often combined with swearing, insults and violent encounters outside of the ring. It also included a far more infamous bite, when he took a chuck out of Evander Holyfield's ear.
But Iron Mike is now a changed man, and when he heard about Suarez's latest tooth-induced incident, he decided to follow him on Twitter. He also spoke with the David Glenn radio show, saying, "He (Suarez) bit someone; it happens. I am sure he will make amends with this guy. I made amends with Evander and we got on with our lives."
Yes, well, it's much easier to move on with someone when it only happens once, but the more Suarez continues to combine his below-the-belt tactics with brilliant goals, the less likely he is to move anywhere.
