“Nothing is broken” per Myles Garrett’s agent. On Myles that is; the Porsche, on the other hand, is very broken. pic.twitter.com/pnM1lhGehI

The police have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash, do not suspect Garrett was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the wreck. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported that Garrett was swerving to avoid an animal on the road just before he lost control of his vehicle.
#Browns star Myles Garrett was discharged from the hospital Monday night, per source.
More tests coming. The good news is Garrett’s injuries aren’t life-threatening. He swerved to avoid an animal on a wet road and overcorrected. Car flipped multiple times. Could’ve been worse.

Garrett is the Browns starting defensive end and has totaled three sacks and seven tackles so far this season. The Browns play the Falcons on Sunday it is unclear if Garrett will have to miss any time.
Drafted No. 1 overall in 2017 out of Texas A&M, Garrett is a three-time All-Pro and three-time Pro Bowl selection.
In 2019 during a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Garrett got into a fight with Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph that started a brawl.
With eight seconds left in the game, Garrett pulled Rudolph to the ground following a late hit. Upset by the late hit, Rudolph started to attack Garrett by kicking him in the groin and attempting to pull off Garrett’s helmet. After getting back up, Garrett ripped off Rudolph’s helmet as Steelers offensive linemen Maurkice Pouncey and David DeCastro tried to hold back Garrett.
Garrett then violently swung Rudolph’s own helmet at him, striking him in the head with the underside of the helmet. As a result Garrett, Pouncey and Browns defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi were ejected.
Following the incident Garrett apologized for his actions, which he described as “foolish” and “out of character.” The NFL suspended Garrett indefinitely, and at a minimum for the remainder of the 2019 season. He was also fined $45,623 while Rudolph was fined $50,000. Thirty-three other players were fined $3,000 for entering a fight zone, and the Browns and Steelers organizations were fined $250,000 each. Garrett appealed his suspension on November 20, but the suspension was upheld.
Garrett also alleged that Rudolph directed a racial slur at him. Garrett said he discussed the it immediately after the altercation with then general manager John Dorsey, then head coach Freddie Kitchens, and Ogunjobi. An investigation was conducted by the league but they found no evidence to support the allegation. He was reinstated on Feb. 12, 2020.
In December of 2020, Garrett was named the Browns recipient of the NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year award.
Garrett called out Steelers offensive lineman Chukwuma Okorafor for diving on linebacker Anthony Walker Jr.’s back during last Thursday’s game.
“That was a bull—- play,” Garrett said. “He’s not moving. You don’t jump on a guy. That was a bull—- play.”
So far the league has not imposed any disciplinary action on Okorafor for the hit that left Garrett and his teammates upset.
Garrett discussed this during Monday’s media availability following practice. He crashed his car shortly thereafter.
