Floyd Mayweather experienced a tragedy recently. His girlfriend Jamie Lynn Blair’s relative died in a condominium owned by Floyd “Money” Mayweather. The incident is being considered a suicide.
Jarrett Johnson, a 24-year-old, was discovered by a friend on Aug. 22 upon arrival at the condo around 4:30 p.m. Although 911 was called, Johnson was already deceased when authorities arrived. Reports are that Jarrett passed away by hanging.
Whether Jarrett lived at the condo or not was clear. Mayweather owns many properties across the country and is reportedly troubled over the loss.

Johnson has appeared in various social media posts with Mayweather, and the two have been seen together at different times around the country. He was a high-level football player, an all-conference quarterback in high school, and the Southeast Missouri All-Region Athlete of the Year. He also played various positions at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. In 2016, at Lindenwood, he was redshirted and named the Special Teams Scout Player of the Week for the Pittsburg State contest.
In 2017, Johnson appeared in three games late in the season as a wide receiver, catching four passes for 36 yards and one touchdown. He caught three passes for 22 yards and one touchdown against Missouri Southern and had a season-long play with a 14-yard reception versus Central Missouri. In addition, he played a significant role in a Lions touchdown versus Missouri with a third-down reception to extend the drive and then a five-yard touchdown reception. Johnson was also named the Special Teams Scout Player of the Week in week two of the season.
Johnson made six starts in 11 games played in 2018, making 22 catches for 278 yards and two touchdowns. He also had one rush for 1 yard and brought in a team-high six catches for 62 yards in the first game of the season, with one touchdown catch against Central Oklahoma. Additionally, he had two catches for 33 yards and a touchdown giving the Lindenwood Lions the lead against Emporia State University, and had three catches for 41 yards in a comeback victory over Missouri Western.
In 2019, he appeared in two games, returning one kick for 16 yards with one carry.
Since 2015, the world has seen Jamie Lynn with Floyd Mayweather traveling the world and equipped with a treasure trove of baubles that Mayweather seemingly has bequeathed to her. Although Mayweather is notoriously seen with many female romantic interests, Jamie Lynn has been consistently on his travels and visible with the undefeated retired former champion.
Jarrett is the son of Crystal Sullens and John Johnson, and he has five siblings: Justice, Cole, Jeriah, Jaida, and Dejah. Unfortunately, his brother Justice Johnson was killed at 18 years old in 2019. He was shot to death on the night of Jan. 14 near a McDonald’s in St. Louis, and two former high school students were linked to the fatal shooting, considered “a robbery that went south.”
The news that Justice and now his brother Jarrett have passed too early is a tragedy that’s effect has reverberated from the Mayweather camp to youth athletics.
