During their New York stop on the 2019 Big3 Tour, the women of the league were honored at the Women of BIG3 Power Lunch.
Presented by Toyota, Big3 coaches Lisa Leslie and Nancy Lieberman along with Big3 Chairman of the Board, Amy Trask all received the Breaking Barriers Award for their impact on the game as trailblazers.
Though still young in age as a league, the Big3 is already one of the more progressive professional sports organizations, with a player-first culture.
With equal pay being a relevant issue for all female athletes, the Big3, fortunately, doesn’t have that problem.
