Fans of the cult classic were rightfully upset when reports revealed that the ganja duo weren’t involved in the sequel, some even, put up online petitions to express their disapproval. But, after things cooled down a bit, Redman called into Grass Routes Podcast to explain what really went down.
“Me and Meth were not aware that they were doing this transaction. I’m not mad at Yachty or DC Young Fly, like I said it has nothing to do with them. I’m not even upset because God always places things in the right position I’m just following the path. My thing is when you have a brand like Red and Meth that helped built and created this entity of How High, on marijuana and being in college. Those are all our ideas. When the new deal came apart of it we weren’t involved in it,” Redman said.
