With the success of his Starz television series Power, 50 recently announced that he is further venturing into television with a deal with Comedy Central. "I bet a HATER will get tired of hating," he wrote on Instagram. "Before I lose passion, I just sold another TV show, COMEDY CENTRAL #smsaudio #power."
No further deals regarding the show have been released by 50 or Comedy Central.
50 is currently filming his role in the Antoine Fuqua directed boxing drama film Southpaw, in Pittsburgh, which stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Forest Whitaker and Rachel McAdams. In the film, 50 plays a promoter that’s part of the entourage of Gyllenhaal’s character, a left-handed welterweight champion who wins a title as his personal life falls apart.
