A woman has publicly made rape allegations against soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
Kathryn Mayorga says the Portuguese soccer player raped her in a Las Vegas hotel room back in 2009 even though she repeatedly screamed no, according to a lawsuit document obtained by CNN.
The document claims after the attack Ronaldo apologized “stating he was sorry, he was usually a gentleman.” It also accuses Ronaldo and his team of coercing Mayorga into signing a settlement and nondisclosure agreement, “feeding off of her emotional state at the time.” She claims she received $375,000 for her silence.
Mayorga seeks to void the settlement and agreement.
