Wifey Has Had Enough, Tom Hang It Up | Tom Brady And Gisele Bundchen Reportedly Are Living Separately After Brady Chose To Continue Playing Football

While Tom Brady is the G.O.A.T of football, he might not be the greatest decision maker regarding his family.

That reportedly ties to the main reason why he and his wife Gisele Bundchen are reportedly living in separate houses amid marriage difficulties.

While many football fans are excited to see Brady still in the game, because to be quite frank, he’s so good and fun to watch even into his mid 40s, the same sentiment wasn’t shared by his wife, especially after Brady’s pump faking his retirement.

Gisele Bundchen, who is also a former supermodel for Victoria Secret  retired in 2015, looking to take on primary care duties for her and Tom’s children while he continued his unparalleled run of success and dominance.

When Brady announced that he was done with football, Gisele initially thought she could not only have her husband back into their marriage and family, she also figured she could get back to living her life and focus on some of her business ventures. When Tom Brady unretired, that sent shockwaves through their family.

During an interview with Elle magazine, Gisele sooke of the concerns she had with Brady, 45, playing for another season. But she also got into the fact that she wants him around as well, considering their kids are beginning to grow up.

“This is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present,” Bündchen told the publication. “I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.”

While she says he should follow his joy, it can be noted that Tom is 45, and is entering his 23rd season. CTE is a real thing, and the QB is the most targeted player on the field.

With that in mind, Tom Brady took an 11-day leave of absence during training camp in August to “deal with personal things” per Buccaneers Head Coach Todd Bowles.

It is presumed that during that 11-day span, Brady was dealing with marital issues with Bundchen, and it may have carried into the regular season.

According to Yahoo Sports and CNN, a source close to Bundchen claims that the QB and supermodel are living separately as of right now. Bundchen also claims that she has done her job as a mother and a wife; she wants Tom to do the same as a spouse and parent.

“I’ve done my part, which is [to] be there for [Tom],” she told Elle. “I moved to Boston, and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams. Seeing my children succeed and become the beautiful little humans that they are, seeing him succeed, and being fulfilled in his career — it makes me happy. At this point in my life, I feel like I’ve done a good job on that.”

On the other hand, according to CNN, Brady in an interview on his own “Lets Go!” podcast with co-host Tim Gray revealed the consequences of playing so long in his career, and how he hasn’t been able to have a real social life outside of football.

“I haven’t had a Christmas in 23 years and I haven’t had a Thanksgiving in 23 years, I haven’t celebrated birthdays with people that I care about that are born from August to late January. And I’m not able to be at funerals and I’m not able to be at weddings,” Brady told Gray. “I think there comes a point in your life where you say: ‘You know what? I’ve had my fill and it’s enough and time to go on, to move into other parts of life.’ “

It is also to be noted that a source said if Brady wants to “keep his marriage” this will be his last season. With Brady vocalizing how much he’s missed in his friends and family’s life because of football, and the pressure on him from his wife to be done, this could honestly be Brady’s last season in the NFL forever.
