Nike has done it again, this time taking us to India to showcase the power of female athletes.
Set to the pulsating beat of “Da Da Ding” by Gener8ion feat. Gizzle, the new spot features some of the top Indian athletes including India’s top actress Deepika Padukone (also a state level badminton player, Rani Rampal (Hockey), Ishita Malviya (Surfer), Smriti Mandhana (Cricket), Shubhalakshmi Sharma (Cricket), Harmanpreet Kaur (Cricket), Shweta Hakke (Sprinter), Tanvi Hans (Football), Jyoti Ann Burrett (Football) and Joshana Chinappa (Squash).
Our own Sunny Cadwallader had written about the South Asian female trailblazers in sports and now Nike gives you more reasons to respect them. Da Da Ding y’all!
