Way back when we first started the TSL Comic Book Convo podcast, we were fortunate enough to have Kim Gaines of Grub Machine Comics on as one of our very first guests. But creating a comic book company from scratch is a long and arduous journey filled with pitfalls and setbacks, but also full of joy and accomplishment as well.
Recently I was able to catch up with Gaines and leading artist Sean Dillon about the journey thus far, their fundraising efforts via gofundme.com and the new graphic novel Eventide.
