TSL Co-Sign: Tissot PRC 200 Tony Parker Limited Edition

Tony Parker's ability and impact on the basketball court are without question or argument. Whenever he decides to walk away from the game, he’ll have a HOF spot reserved for him that will celebrate his contributions. This week he begins the quest for his 4th NBA Finals ring, which will put him in rarified air with some of the best guards of all-time.

But you already know that. What you probably didn’t know, is that Parker takes his style choices seriously, and that he usually doesn’t waste his moments with suspect brands. Case in point, his partnership with Swiss watch company Tissot.

Tissot is old money, meaning, their expertise in crafting quality chronographs is renowned the world over and their bright-eyed reputation is well earned. Simply put, this is top-level company who has had their stakes in the watch business going all the way back to 1853. Anyone they do business with must be of equal status; they’re not even setting up a preliminary discussion otherwise.

This collaboration with Parker, called the Tony Parker PRC 200, is a limited edition wristwatch chock full of noteworthy specifics. The PRC (Precision, Robustness and Classic) has a glass back engraved with silk print. It also has a stainless steel case with scratch-resistant sapphire crystals. It’s complete with a leather strap, butterfly clasp and is water-resistance up to a depth of 660 feet.

The PRC is perfectly weighted too, you can feel its presence on your wrist, but it's still light enough to fit comfortably. Aesthetic-wise, it pops due to the black, silver and burnt orange colors throughout the timepiece. It has a sportiness to it, but has the requisite amount of quality manufacturing included, which elevates it to a professional level. You can wear this to work or to a upscale dinner without a care in the world.

Only thing is, Tissot only made 4999 of these, so if you want one, you better go and grab one right now. Unless of course, you know Tony Parker personally.
