HBO Go might need to hire the folks that fixed the Obamacare website after crashing before Sunday’s season finale of True Detective aired on the East Coast. Millions tuning in to see the freaky show starring Woody Harrelson and Oscar winning actor Matthew McConaughey were obviously pissed when just before 9pm, they logged onto HBO’s live streaming website, attempting to type in their log in and password. But instead of seeing the final episode of the Home Box Office’s most popular show, at the moment, viewers watched one of those annoying spinning wheels.
Thank God for the power of twitter in breaking news. HBO tweeted to frustrated viewers: "Due to overwhelmingly popular demand for #TrueDetective, we've been made aware of an issue affecting some users. Please try again soon."
