According to Houston police, around 5:45 p.m. last night, there was a knock at Bun B’s door, his wife Queenie open it—thinking it was a possible delivery—but instead found a masked man holding a gun on the other side.
The intruder, who has now been identified as DeMonte Jackson, demanded valuables to which Queenie offered up her Audi that was in the garage.
Bun B heard the commotion from upstairs, grabbed his gun, and confronted the masked man as he was getting into the Audi. Several shots were fired and the intruder ran away, leaving his gun behind.
Jackson showed up at a hospital for treatment for a gunshot wound. The Houston PD later arrested Jackson and he’s now facing three felony charges.
