Syracuse And Georgetown Eye A Ten-Year Series Renewal

The Syracuse Orange and Georgetown Hoyas were the most intense rivals in college basketball's grandest conference for three decades. The dissolution of the Big East brought an end to their in-conference battles, but according to Syracuse.com, the Hoyas and Orange could re-launch theiir series for the next ten years.
The Orange have agreed to the concept of a ten year series, it's just a matter of hearing back from Georgetown first. The only thing that can get in the way of this now are overgrown egos.

“We love the concept. We want the concept. We heard that they want the concept,” Syracuse Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director/Chief Communications Officer for External Affairs Joe Giansante told the site Wednesday night. “And so discussions are taking place to try to get something to where we can move it to the phase where we would actually contract the teams to have them happen.”
