Suge Knight Sentenced To 28 Years In Prison After Reaching Plea Deal

Former Death Row Records co-founder and CEO Suge Knight is heading to prison for a very long time.

The 53-year -old, whose real name is Marion Knight was sentenced to 28 years in state prison on Thursday after reaching a plea deal for the 2015 incident that resulted in the death of Terry Carter and left Cle Bone Sloan seriously injured.

The incident occurred following an argument on the set of a commercial for the film, Straight Outta Compton.

Knight was arrested in 2015 and hit with a string of charges including murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run and has since had 16 different appointed attorneys represent him.

Knight pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter charges. Prior to the plea deal, Suge Knight was facing life in prison with no possibility of parole.
