Strictly Speaking Ep. 2

Basketball fans, we’re back with the second installment of the hottest b-ball podcast, “Strictly Speaking.”

Strictly Speaking, with Rod Strickland and co-hosted by TSL’s EIC Ali Danois, is a weekly, in-depth look at the National Basketball Association and its players, focusing on the keys to success for each team and its individual star players.

Rodney Rod Strickland is a 17-year veteran of the NBA, who finished his storied career as the 10th all-time leader in assists. Rod is currently an Assistant Basketball Coach at the University of South Florida under Orlando Antigua.

Strick played college basketball at DePaul University, where he was awarded All-American honors, and formerly served in an administrative role for the University of Kentucky basketball team under head coach John Calipari. He was also the director of basketball operations at the University of Memphis under Calipari.

Rod is the godfather of current NBA player and NBA champion Kyrie Irving, having grown up with Kyries father, Drederick Irving, in the South Bronx.
