When Victor Oladipo got traded from OKC back to his second home of Indiana, where the 6-foot-4 guard was a college All-American with the Hoosiers in 2012-13 before becoming the No. 2 overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic, he says he wanted to be ready for it in every way.
Appearing on NBA TVs hit show Players Only with Chris Webber, Kevin McHale and Isiah Thomas fresh off his public reconciliation with Magic Johnson, Oladipo spoke about the trade which was criticized by many hoops analysts. He says he didnt know what to expect, but he wanted to be in the best physical and mental shape of his life.

Oladipo was Oklahoma Citys second-leading scorer behind NBA MVP Russell Westbrook in 2016-17. He averaged a solid 15.9 points, 2.6 assists and 4.3 rebounds while shooting career highs from the field overall (44.2 percent) and from the arc (36.1 percent).
