The cast for the LeBron James co-produced comedy series Survivor’s Remorse has been announced and it’s shaping up to be a potentially hilarious concoction of talent. Touted as a “real” look inside the grueling life of a professional basketball player, the scripted comedy will star Jesse T. Usher (Level Up) as newly-signed rookie phenom Cam Calloway who balances family and career, loved ones and gold diggers. Tom Werner, Mike O'Malley (Shameless, Glee), Maverick Carter and Paul Watcher will produce as well.
Ronreaco Lee (Let’s Stay Together) will play Calloway’s cousin Reggie Vaughn, and Erica Ash (Real Husbands of Hollywood) will play Cam’s sister. Tichina Arnold is Cam’s mother and Teyonah Parris (Mad Men) has been cast as Reggie’s wife.
Survivor’s Remorse will debut on Starz in fall 2014. Check out the newly released trailer below.
