Boxing star Shawn Porter will auction off a series of items including two tickets to his welterweight world title showdown against Danny Garcia on Saturday, September 8th to benefit Gleason’s Give a Kid a Dream Foundation.
Porter will auction off some hand wraps, a pair of signed boxing shoes, “Team Porter” t-shirts and tickets for fight night.
“This was something that I really wanted to do so that I could give back and continue to show all of the good that boxing can do for people,” said Porter, who donated the items to Gleason’s Gym while training there earlier this month. “I’m so happy to give my time to something that will help people who grew up just like me and use this sport to better themselves and the lives of others.”
Fans can bid HERE through Bidding Owl up until Saturday, September 1 for the chance to meet Porter and be in the arena for the Garcia vs. Porter fight, while also supporting a great cause that uses boxing to help at-risk youth turn their lives around.

Danny Swift Garcia and Showtime Shawn Porter will square off for the vacant WBC Welterweight World Championship live on SHOWTIME Saturday, September 8th in a Premier Boxing Champions event from the Barclays Center.
Porter (28-2-1, 17 KOs) owns victories over four-division champion Adrien Broner and two-division champion Paulie Malignaggi over a career that has seen him develop a reputation as one of the sports most reliable all-action attractions.
He lost a narrow decision to unified welterweight champion Keith Thurman in a 2016 Fight of the Year candidate in Brooklyn, but rebounded with two victories last year at Barclays Center. He scored a TKO victory against former welterweight champion Andre Berto in a welterweight title eliminator and followed it up with a 12-round decision over Adrian Granados.
The 30-year-old Porter, who was born in Akron, Ohio and now lives in Las Vegas, will be fighting at Barclays for the fifth time, including his performance against Devon Alexander that earned him the IBF title in 2013.
