Wide receiver Josh Gordon’s time with the Cleveland Browns has come to an end.
Gordon, who showed a flash of his once-elite skills with a touchdown grab against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1 of the season, is now a New England Patriot.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Pats will send a 5th round pick in 2019 to the Browns for the former Pro Bowler.

Annnnnnnnd, it’s official. @AdamSchefter reporting that the Patriots have finalized the trade with the Browns which will send Josh Gordon to New England.
Originally reported by Ian Rapoport, the Patriots looked like strong contenders to land Gordon out of the gate.
With a receiving corps that’s been hobbled going into the 1st month, Gordon would be a perfect fit and a true number one WR who could immediately alleviate pressure off Tom Brady’s go-to target in Rob Gronkowski.
