Matt Barnes spent 15 years in the NBA. Like it or lump it, thats quite the accomplishment. After announcing his retirement in December 2017 via Instagram, the defensive stalwart and journeyman will now take his talents and funds to producing film works.
On Sunday, Barnes took to the Gram again to tell us about his first project, a biopic of Black Panther Party co-founder Huey Newton. Titled Power to the People, Barnes made reference to actor Keith Powers (The New Edition Story and Straight Outta Compton) as the possible lead.
