With the rebirth of boxing and its new wave of stars comes misunderstandings, hostilities, and tension. Enter former IBF light middleweight champion Jermall Charlo, who along with his twin brother Jermell Charlo, have been destroying opponents and making a name for themselves in the process within the Premier Boxing Champions organization.
Apparently, one Charlo has had enough of two popular PBC fighters and decided to vent his frustrations, where else but social media in a NSFW post. Appearing on FightHype’s Instagram account, Jermall Charlo vented in depth about his frustrations with being on the Adrien Broner vs. Jesse Vargas card at the Barclays Center on April 21st. He took shots at “The Problem” and Mayweather protege Gervonta “Tank” Davis during the process.

Middleweight contender Hugo Centeno Jr. suffered a rib injury while training and his Interim WBC Middleweight World Championship bout with Jermall Charlo has been rescheduled for a Premier Boxing Champions event on Saturday, April 21 live on SHOWTIME.
The news of the injury first broke on February 23rd and Charlo was disappointed but threw no shots at any of the other fighters on the rescheduled date until now.
Im ready to go, said Charlo via press release regarding Centeno’s injury. Im 167 pounds right now, and this was the best camp Ive ever had. Im so disappointed. Im at a loss for words. When you want something so bad and you dont get it, you cant be a kid about it. You just have to deal with it.

Charlo became the mandatory challenger for the WBC middleweight title, with a stoppage win over an injured Jorge Sebastian Heiland in round 4 last July. Previously, Charlo and his brother demolished the light middleweight rankings and Jermall decided to move up in weight so that he wouldn’t have to fight his brother. The two are trained by Derrick James and along with current IBF welterweight champion, Errol Spence, Jr. are on the rise and keeping Texas on the map for boxing.
Charlo was recently in the media as a suspected victim of a robbery in the 40/40 Club.
Broner is now fighting Jesse Vargas after his original opponent Omar Figueroa, Jr. suffered a shoulder injury during training. The two were recently in the media for individual run-ins with law enforcement that many thought might have derailed their bouts. Broner was arrested in Atlanta after being accused of sexual assault at a shopping mall and Figueroa was cited with a DUI. Broner is looking to get back in the win column after losing to Mikey Garcia last July on the same card as Jermall Charlo.
