The NFL owners think they have him over a barrell and the blatant blackballing of Colin Kaepernick has Black folk, and folks of all ethnicities, feeling a bit oppressed right now. Critics want to hear him give grand speeches and fight the system with a sharp tongue and a thirst for the spotlight.
Obviously, the man just wants to continue to make the country better and support the oppressed against our new, dangerous and divisive government regime. He may not be suiting up on Sundays, but hes still leading with this actions off the field.

Colin Kaepernick Donates $25K to Nonprofit Aimed at Helping DACA Recipients https://t.co/DaZF9TJPgc
Kaepernick has donated close to $1 million out of his own pockets to support community service and organizing efforts, and he recently gave a grant to help immigrant youth impacted by Donald Trumps repeal of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, better known as DACA.
At this point, Kaepernick has donated well over $700,000 to nearly 30 organizations fighting to stop oppression. Hes also reached out to the public through his website, kaepernick7.com, to get suggestions on where he should spend the money as he prepares for another round of $100K donations. He is quickly surpassing the $1 million in donations he promised when he began the endeavor.
His latest pledge, announced earlier this month, is a $25,000 donation to D.C.-based United We Dream, the largest immigrant youth-led organization in the country.
The groups goal is to advocate for the dignity and fair treatment of immigrant youth and their families, regardless of immigration status, its website states.
While the debate over sitting and standing for the national anthem rages on, Kaepernick continues to stick to his guns and value social progress over celebrity.
