Broncos Want Pass Rush God DeMarcus Ware To Coach

DeMarcus Ware is 8th on the NFLs all-time sack list with 138.5 QB snuffs and announced his retirement from the league in March of 2017 as a member of the Denver Broncos via Twitter.

It’s time ….

Word on the NFL streets is that the Broncos have communicated with the future Hall-of-Fame linebacker about returning as a part-time pass-rush consultant.

Second-year Broncos head man Vance Joseph needs to rebound from a miserable rookie season and after revamping his coaching staff, Joseph wants to hire a dedicated pass-rush instructor and who better than Ware who had 21.5 sacks in his three-years with the Broncos and helped them win a Super Bowl.

The entire situation may just be wishful thinking for Broncos fans as Ware said earlier this month, via Twitter, that he hasnt been contacted by the Broncos.

@TroyRenck Haven’t gotten the call

Other reports say the gig is not expected to work out because of Wares media pursuits. Ware is an analyst for NFL Network and is apparently in the hunt for a permanent job with a major network.

DeMarcus Ware was among those on Vance Joseph’s radar for pass-rush coach but it’s not expected to work out. Ware has been busy with NFL Network, among other ventures. #9sports

Wares obviously keeping his options open. Terrible back problems forced him into retirement, however, so relaxing in a studio or doing some sideline work at a game is much less stressful on his body than getting in the trenches as a coach and having to teach men how to execute pass rushing techniques.

If Joseph wants Ware then he’s going to have to personally recruit him and sweeten the pot until it’s to Ware’s advantage to leave the plush media life he’s building for himself.
