Internet Reacted Over Sonic the Hedgehog Movie Poster

A Sonic the Hedgehog movie poster was released on Monday surprising everyone on social media.

The poster wasn’t as shocking to some as was the CGI appearance of the iconic blue hedgehog character. It appears that Sonic will be taking on a more humanoid look for the upcoming live-action movie. This decision falls in line with the recent life-like character trend in film and something we’ve already witnessed in the upcoming Pokemon: Detective Pikachu trailer.

However, this will be the first time Sonic the Hedgehog will receive its first featured live-action movie. The notorious ring collector has had various television adaptions since the 90s already.

But no matter how great the news was, folks were more so vocal about the appearance of the Hedgehog.

As someone who fell in love with video games because of Sega Genesis, it’s great to see video games relevance within pop culture.
