In an interview with Lucky Magazine, Solange Knowles has finally addressed the altercation between her and brother in law Jay-Z, which took place in an elevator at a Met Gala after-party at the Standard Hotel.
Speaking on the incident Solange told the magazine, “What’s important is that my family and I are all good. What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that.”
The joint statement that the Knowles Carter family initially put out after the incident read, “We love each other and, above all, we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.”
In surveillance camera footage obtained from the hotel, Solange was seen physically attacking Jay-Z in the elevator of the hotel.
