Free agent Seth Curry has agreed to terms on a two-year, $2 million deal with the Sacramento Kings.
This deal comes on the heels of the showcase Curry put on during the Summer League games for the New Orleans Pelicans. Steph’s little brother blacked-out for 25 points per game while playing for the Pelicans this summer and was this year’s top scorer.
The career of the 24 year old guard could finally be gaining some traction. We’ve seen him shuttle around the NBA’s D-League and play for 10 day contracts with the Cav’s, Grizzlies and Phoenix Suns all since leaving Duke early.
The Kings hope Curry can carry over that momentum and contribute solid minutes and consistent scoring along with a defense that allowed him to average almost 3 steals during the Summer League games.
The pressure of being the little brother to the reigning MVP and defending champ, Steph Curry, can probably make diamonds.
Hopefully Seth can finally get his shine on.
