Roger Hill of The Warriors Dead at 65

It is with great sadness that we report the death of Roger Hill at the age of 65. Hill is best known for appearing in the 1979 cult classic The Warriors as Cyrus.  He died last Thursday in New York.  Hill was an early participant in the Frank Silvera Writers’ Workshop and appeared in Off Broadway and touring productions of Charles Gordone’s “No Place to Be Somebody,” Ed Bullins’ “The Fabulous Miss Marie” and “Hamlet.”

Some fans remember him as Alec Lowndes on ABC’s One Life to Live from 1982-85.

Born and raised in New York City, Hill graduated from the City College of New York. He left acting and spent time working as a part-time librarian and writing poetry in his later years. Hill is survived by his son Chris W. Hill.
