Actor RJ Cyler is the latest star to join the cast of Black Lightning’s second season.

Cyler will play character Todd Green, an awkward tech genius who’s denied a research grant. Green is disappointed until he’s offered to join Tobias Whale (series star Marvin “Krondon” Jones III).
The actor has been in a series of projects including “Me and Earl and the Dying Girl” and was also the blue Power Ranger in the 2017 Lionsgate film.
Black Lightning airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on The CW and stars Cress Williams, China Anne McClain, Nafessa Williams and, Marvin “Krondon” Jones III.
