The 6-part docu-series has open the gates for a new investigation.
According to reports, R. Kelly is being criminally investigated in Georgia. This comes after Lifetime aired its documentary, “Surviving R. Kelly.”

However, sources connected to the case say that the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office opened an investigation into allegations made against the Chicago singer is a direct result of the documentary.
Officials have reached out to some of the women featured in the six-part series including Asante McGee, one of the women who escaped R. Kelly’s home.
Investigators have been asking for contact information from others who have lived in R. Kelly’s former Atlanta home. And anyone who may have direct knowledge of what happened in the home.
Kelly is accused of manipulating and controlling women, in addition to numerous accusations of sexual misconduct. All of which, he has denied.
