Puma Basketball strengthens its roster by signing Boston Celtics guard Terry Rozier.
The announcement broke in an Instagram video showing Rozier working out in Puma’s Clyde Court Disrupt. He’ll officially be joining DeAndre Ayton, Marvin Bagley III, Zhaire Smith and Rudy Gay in the newly revived division.
These signing moves, collectively, have not only shown the promising rise of Puma Basketball but also the interconnection with Jay Z. Earlier Hov received smoke for joining Puma Basketball as the Creative Director, filling in an executive spot as someone whose legacy isn’t sneaker based.

But since his addition, Puma has been poaching young NBA talent left and right. This direction completely aligns with Jay-Z’s sentiments on both black excellence and ownership.
Puma Basketball’s growth both in recognition and in roster size either shows the effectiveness of Hov’s active involvement or simply the impact of his brand.
Either way, whether Jay Z is involved or not, his brand is helping to make Puma Basketball a contender in the sneaker world.
