PRITTY Left Hook: Bernard Hopkins, Lil’ Future & Coach Mark Robertson

This is a Philly episode with Bernard Hopkins, Lil' Future & Coach Robertson.

Welcome to the PRITTY Left Hook podcast where we get real about combat sports! I promise you that I will take a position that will either have you fist-pumping your coworker in the next cubicle or cursing me out voraciously. I talk trash and get in that ass, baby.

In this episode, we traveled to the “City of Brotherly Love” where we held court at Cafe La Maude and sat down with my big brother Bernard “The Legend” Hopkins and the future, literally.

Being touted as the next great one in the Philly boxing scene, 13 year-old Jamir “Lil’ Future” Robertson and his father “The Mad Scientist of Boxing” Coach Mark Robertson are looking to follow in the footsteps of other successful father-son coaching teams like Danny and Angel Garcia and Shawn and Kenny Porter while blazing there own path.

With mentors like Bernard Hopkins, Andre Ward and Devin Haney, Lil’ Future is poised for greatness based on his ambition and the guidance of his father. Hopkins gives advice to help guide this young spirit, continuing to dispel the myth that he’s only a great boxer.

This one was right on time for Turkey Day week and Creed II, which also features Lil’ Future.
