Under Al Davis, the Oakland Raiders seemed to draft players simply based on their athleticism. Darius Heyward-Bey, offensive lineman Bruce Campbell, Darren McFadden and Davis' final pick, Terrelle Pryor, are just a few of the most recent “workout warriors” to make the Raiders locker room their NFL home. The Raiders also targeted Colin Kaepernick in 2011.
Running back turned Cornerback Taiwan Jones, the 2011 fourth round pick of the Raiders, is one of the latest addition to the Raiders Olympic track team. We’ll just call Jones the high jumper after witnessing him leap over a car. Teammate Tyvon Branch recorded Jones’ feat on Instagram. However, it should be noted that he was jumping off of a slightly elevated sidewalk. On the other hand, these contracts aren't guaranteed. I'm not sure why these unproven players keep putting their careers on the line like this.
