Sandra L Richards has been tapped to take Morgan Stanley’s Global Sports and Entertainment Unit to the next level.

Seton Hall grad, children’s book author, and businesswoman, Sandra L. Richards has been tapped to take Morgan Stanley’s Global Sports and Entertainment Unit to the next level.

Richards will be leaving her current position at Morgan Stanley, as a managing director and a head of business development. While her first task in her new role hasn’t been determined yet, Morgan Stanley’s global sports and entertainment unit managed around $35 billion in 2016.

The rise of Esports and the gaming industry as a whole has alotted more women and minorities opportunities to influence the business and culture from the boardroom to the competitive gaming scene. Positioning Richards to lead the charge at Morgan Stanley is a step in the right direction.
