During overtime between the Clippers and the Rockets on Monday night, Lance Stephenson went back to the hood and challenged teammate Josh Smith to game of slap boxing. Josh didn’t appear to be interested but then it took him over and he jumped right in. Fortunately for Lance, Josh stopped before that heel-palm strike actually connected. But slap boxing? On the bench? During a game? In the words of Ed Lover “Come on son!”
The funniest part, besides the fact that Lance was about to get it, was that no one seemed to pay them any mind. But we know what Austin Rivers was thinking….
