According to The Daily Mail, legendary rapper Kidd Creole was arrested on Wednesday night for allegedly stabbing a homeless man to death in Midtown Manhattan. Police say Glover and the 55-year-old man got into the altercation on East 44th Street and Third Avenue.The 57-year-old hip hop pioneer, whose real name is Nathaniel Glover, has reportedly been charged with murder.
Glover, who works as a security guard and handyman in the area, was tied to the stabbing via surveillance footage.
Authorities were initially dispatched to the area after a call to 911. The officers believed the man had passed out or was drunk until they saw multiple stab wounds. The man was rushed to Bellevue Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Glover, was taken into custody in the Bronx where he has reportedly been charged on Wednesday night.
Police said the victim was well known to authorities with 17 prior arrests to his name.

Grandmaster Flash And The Furious Five is a legendary Hip Hop group which Glover was a founding member of. The group was started in the Bronx in the 1970s and became one of the premier Hip Hop acts with chart topping songs like The Message.
Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five were also the first Hip Hop group to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2007.
