Clippers’ guard, Jamal Crawford, took up a new hobby this offseason – practicing his jumper. Make no mistake, that’s a new thing for Jamal, so he says.
"This summer was actually the first summer I worked on my game. I usually just play off of raw talent, but I just wanted to work on something and be in great shape coming into camp. I came here right after Labor Day, which is the earliest I've ever gone to any team in the summer, and all the guys were here, committed to getting better.”
Impossible, right? Blake Griffin agrees. How could a professional shooting guard and former sixth-man of the year, have never been drilled on shooting? Never in high school ball? AAU? The University of Michigan? Or any NBA squad? Not buying it.
Good news for the Clippers (and New Avenues For Youth) is that, should this miraculously be true, Crawford will be shooting the lights out in LOB City. Make it rain, Jamal. Show ‘em how it’s done.
