Ice Cube’s BIG3 continues to make headlines and break barriers in professional sports.
From becoming the first pro league to have a woman coach a men’s team to being the only sports organization that is tree-friendly to their athletes it doesn’t look like Cube’s slowing down anytime soon. Especially considering their latest addition to the rising brand.
All-world, All-amazing, and basketball HOF’er Lisa Leslie was announced as the new coach for the Los Angeles Triplets on Twitter. Considering her impact on the game— and in L.A. specifically—Hiring Leslie makes too much sense.

Following in BIG3 Power head coach Nancy Lieberman’s footstep and taking it one foot forward, Leslie will be the first Black woman to coach a pro-male squad.
Details are scarce, but taking into account that the BIG3 welcomes player-coaches, who knows if Leslie will step foot on the court and go toe to toe with some of the game’s legends.
