The duo, whose real names are Booker and Lash Huffman, got their start in professional wrestling in 1989. But according to Stevie Ray, they never planned on working together as a team.

Ray told USA Today, “Me and my brother had no inclination of ever being a tag team. That was somebody else’s idea.”

Thank god they did. The two won first tag team titles in 1992 as the “The Ebony Experience.” They would later go on to have more title reigns than any other team in company history.

This induction will make Booker T a two-time WWE Hall of Famer, joining Ric Flair and fellow 2019 inductee Shawn Michael of D-Generation X.

The introduction will take place on the eve of WrestleMania 35, Saturday, April 6, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The ceremony will air on the WWE Network at 8:00 p.m. ET.
