“Fighting With My Family” tells the story of WWE Divas Champion Paige and the real-life obscurity to superstar status that was thrust upon her seemingly overnight, juxtaposed with the underlying story of her brother Zak Zodiac, who had his own dreams of WWE superstar status.
The film stars Florence Pugh, Lena Headey, Jack Lowden, Nick Frost, Vince Vaughn and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

While much of the film is funny and heartwarming, the manner in which writer-director Stephen Merchant was able to not only show Zak’s spiral into resentment for his sister and toxic behavior, but also his redemption at the realization of his purpose, was just as grand.
I spoke with the former WWE Diva about the movie in an exclusive interview shot at the Essex House in New York City.
